About these terms
These terms apply to your use of brickifymyhome.com, which is run by Brickify My Home (ABN [ABN]) (“we”, “us”) in Perth, Western Australia. By using the site you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
The service
We design custom brick models of homes and other buildings from plans, CAD files and photos, and we sell kits of the parts and instructions to build them.
We’re launching in stages. Some features shown on the site are not available yet, including uploads, payments, gift cards and accounts. When you choose one of these, we’ll ask whether you’d like to hear when it opens. You are never charged for anything that isn’t available.
The 3D demo and its model are examples. Real models may differ in detail, colours and piece count.
Prices, reservations and orders
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Shipping is shown at checkout.
- Kit prices shown in the shop are estimates until sales open. Part prices are based on typical market prices for new parts and may change.
- Reserving an order is free and doesn’t commit you to buy. It doesn’t create a contract or guarantee availability. When sales open we’ll email you a payment link at the price shown when you reserved. You can accept it or ignore it. If we can’t honour that price, we’ll tell you before you pay.
- An order is only accepted once you’ve paid and we’ve confirmed it by email. We may decline an order, for example if a price was shown in error. If we do, we’ll refund anything you paid in full.
- We ship within Australia only for now, and we will give you a delivery estimate when you order. Parts may come from several sources, and we may substitute an identical part in the same colour and shape.
Your consumer rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our design services also come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, including that they will be provided with due care and skill.
Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If a part is missing or faulty, email us and we’ll send a replacement.
Plans and photos you send us
- Only send plans, files and photos that you own or have permission to use, for example plans of your own home. Please don’t send plans of someone else’s home without their permission.
- You keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to use it only to design, preview and produce your model, and to provide the service to you.
- We won’t use your plans, photos or model to promote Brickify My Home without asking you first.
- The model we design for you is for your personal use. You may share photos of your model and your 3D link however you like.
Our content
The website, our designs, instructions, 3D viewer, brand and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell or redistribute our instructions, parts lists or models without our permission.
Trademarks and compatibility
LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this website or our products. Our models are designed using standard LEGO® part numbers, so they are compatible with LEGO® bricks. Brickify My Home is an independent business.
Using the site
Please don’t misuse the site. That includes trying to break or overload it, getting around its security, scraping it at scale, submitting false orders or spam, or uploading anything unlawful, harmful or infringing. We may suspend access for anyone who does.
Safety
Kits contain small parts and are a choking hazard. They are not suitable for children under 3.
Liability
We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but it may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. We link to other sites for convenience, and we aren’t responsible for their content.
To the extent the law allows, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the goods or services, or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. You and we submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service grows. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms that applied when you placed an order continue to apply to that order.
